Os dados ambientais foram analisados como parte da Peti\u00e7\u00e3o do Aditivo Alimentar Sucralose do Reino Unido nos anos 90. Al\u00e9m disso, a FDA, Administra\u00e7\u00e3o de Alimentos e Medicamentos dos EUA avaliou o potencial dos impactos ambientais no final dos anos 90. As autoridades reguladoras concordaram que a sucralose n\u00e3o representava risco ao meio ambiente (FDA 1999).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/article><article  class=\"icon-content-box content-box icon-left icon-style-1\"><div class=\"icon-holder\"><span class=\"q icon-help-circled\"><\/span><\/div><div class=\"text-holder\"><h5 class=\"heading\">A sucralose \u00e9 mensurada no meio ambiente? A ci\u00eancia acerca da sucralose no meio ambiente passa por an\u00e1lises e avalia\u00e7\u00f5es constantes?<\/h5> <p>A sucralose \u00e9 detectada no meio ambiente, assim como ocorre com a maior parte do que as pessoas consomem e excretam na vida di\u00e1ria. A maioria dos relatos detecta a sucralose em v\u00e1rios corpos de \u00e1gua, como lagos, rios e c\u00f3rregos. As concentra\u00e7\u00f5es de sucralose relatadas atualmente s\u00e3o semelhantes \u00e0s previstas nos anos 90, antes da sua introdu\u00e7\u00e3o no mercado. Os novos relatos e publica\u00e7\u00f5es relacionados \u00e0 sucralose no meio ambiente s\u00e3o monitorados regularmente. \u00c9 importante analisar estes relatos para garantir que a sucralose n\u00e3o representa risco ao meio ambiente. Em 2012 foi publicada uma reavalia\u00e7\u00e3o de todos os dados ambientais da sucralose por cientistas noruegueses e norte-americanos na revista Science of the Total Environment (Tollefsen et al., 2012).
