Mais de 100 estudos realizados e avaliados ao longo de um per\u00edodo de 20 anos demonstram claramente a seguran\u00e7a da sucralose.<\/p>\n<p>O impacto ambiental, transporte e propriedades ecotoxicol\u00f3gicas da sucralose foram analisados originalmente como parte da Peti\u00e7\u00e3o do Aditivo Alimentar do Reino Unido e pela FDA, Administra\u00e7\u00e3o de Alimentos e Medicamentos dos Estados Unidos (FDA 1999). Em 2012 cientistas da Noruega e dos Estados Unidos analisaram novamente todos os dados ambientais dispon\u00edveis sobre a sucralose (Tollefsen et al. 2012). Ambas as an\u00e1lises indicaram que a sucralose n\u00e3o causa efeitos adversos nas plantas ou na vida aqu\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n<p>Os estudos sobre a sucralose e o meio ambiente foram realizados em uma ampla variedade de esferas, em doses muitas vezes superiores \u00e0s dos n\u00edveis reais de consumo, para avaliar se h\u00e1 algum risco relacionado a c\u00e2ncer, efeitos gen\u00e9ticos, reprodu\u00e7\u00e3o e fertilidade, defeitos cong\u00eanitos, imunologia, sistema nervoso central e metabolismo. Todos estes estudos conclu\u00edram que a sucralose \u00e9 segura para o consumo humano.<\/p>\n<p>Como parte da avalia\u00e7\u00e3o geral da seguran\u00e7a da sucralose, foi realizado um grande n\u00famero de estudos para entender o impacto ambiental, transporte e ecotoxicidade da sucralose. Estes estudos ambientais demonstraram claramente que a sucralose se degrada no meio ambiente, n\u00e3o \u00e9 prejudicial \u00e0s plantas e animais e n\u00e3o se acumula nos tecidos dos organismos (ou seja, n\u00e3o h\u00e1 bioac\u00famulo). Estes estudos foram desenvolvidos e realizados com metodologias aceitas e validadas internacionalmente, o que muitos pesquisadores simplesmente n\u00e3o seguem.<\/p>\n<p>Alguns estudos de ecotoxicidade sugerem que a sucralose pode ser detectada em cursos de \u00e1gua. Entretanto, \u00e9 importante lembrar que as concentra\u00e7\u00f5es relatadas em cursos de \u00e1gua s\u00e3o semelhantes \u00e0s previstas nos anos 90, antes da introdu\u00e7\u00e3o da sucralose no mercado. A concentra\u00e7\u00e3o que foi prevista e as relatadas s\u00e3o de ordens de magnitude inferiores \u00e0s utilizadas nos estudos de ecotoxicidade. De fato, n\u00e3o foi observado nenhum efeito adverso nos testes ecotoxicol\u00f3gicos.
